The Aaron Proctor Show

A sorta-whatever-conservative, frank, honest Libertarian's look at (and rants about) American politics, pop culture, and sports (specifically Philadelphia sports but does talk about national stories too). Bitterly sarcastic, occasionally humorous and 100% honest. Recorded in Philadelphia. Podcast to the world.

Aaron Proctor is a former professional wrestling promoter who ran for office and dabbled in political blogging when he lived in Southern California. After upsetting some uber-Liberal people who his profanity-laced, vitriol-filled satirical political blog, Proctor headed back to his hometown of Philadelphia, PA where he happily leads a pretty normal life.

Failing to completely stay off the radar, Proctor decided that he needed some type of artistic output. Therefore, he created this podcast to blather on with his unorthodox ideas, notions and suggestions of limited government and unlimited happiness. A grown-up version of himself not-completely-lacking sophomoric, one-trick pony antics, Proctor assuredly won't turn the volume all the way down: for the his perceived "good of the country".

Episode 17 - Tea Party Crashers (Part II)/BRUNO SAMMARTINO!

Pictured above: This week's guest, former WWF World Champion Bruno Sammartino

Week of 1/31/10. This week, Aaron bodyslams his way through the political rumor mills. Literally.

Former candidate for the 44th California State Assembly District, Brian Fuller (R), sets up the main event to help Aaron weigh in on the State of the Union and the state of California as well. And plenty of inside jokes are made about current Assembly member "Fat Tony" Anthony Portantino.

And our biggest guest yet - in our Main Event - 2-time former World Wrestling Federation World Heavyweight Champion, "The Living Legend" Bruno Sammartino drops by to weigh in on misquotes attributed to him about Linda

McMahon's US Senate campaign in Connecticut, and the way professional wrestling is and was. The undercard features Aaron giving his own late State of the Union analysis and revealing why he thinks people like Alex Jones are bad for the liberty movement. Past guests Martin Chicon, Alex Zajac and Tarrin Lupo weigh in weigh their own thoughts via e-mail.

You don't want to miss this one. Bruno Sammartino is truly a class act all the way. As for this week's show, political & wrestling fans? It's a barnburner, for sure.

Musical selection this week is just one and it's "B.O.B." from Outkast.

Week of 1/24/10.

What's going on with the Tea Partiers and the Libertarians and liberty-minded people? Seems to be some rifts afoot. Maybe they've always been there? From Alex Jones' general douchebaggery to a special interview with Tarrin Lupo, victim of a silly-and-now-viral incident at a C4L event, to brief analysis on the dumb decisions made by assclown James O'Keefe, Aaron's going to try to find some answers this week and next week.

Among all of that discord, Aaron sits down with Robb Cunningham, Libertarian candidate in Missouri's 1st Congressional District.

Aaron discusses what to expect for 2010 - from this show and for all of America... How you can join the fight for Liberty.... Democrats off jumping the Titanic of government... Aaron's looking for sponsors.... Giving props to other Liberty-minded podcasts and organizations.... Answering people's requests to rant about stuff from inside and outside politics.

It's a no holds barred falls-count-anywhere way to start the year. Topics of discussion include an excellent article on Obamacare in the New York Post, The "Harold Saxon Presidency" (???), Bret Hart, RFID chips, and cigarettes that go out as soon as you light them.

Even though you might hear the Night Court theme, this episode promises no Bull!

Musical selections include:

Metallica - "Don't Tread On Me" (I swear we'll have a permanent show theme song!)
Suzanne Vega - "Tom's Diner"
Love And Rockets - "No New Tale To Tell"
The Timelords (The KLF) - "Doctorin' The TARDIS"
Siouxsie & The Banshees - "The Passenger"

Tune in, tune out, Tucumcari, New Mexico.

***Seriously, this show needs sponsors.. Please contact us (meaning me) at proctorcast@gmail.com if you'd like to help defray the cost of being awesome, broadcasting the revolution and keeping Liberty alive.
